Where are your printed fabrics made?

Some are made in Montreal, not to be confused with bought in Montreal! We offer a selection of printable fabrics that are truly 100% MADE in Quebec. Some come from China, but are also printed in our workshop. on the North Shore of Montreal.

    • MICROFIBER TOWEL - 200 gsm - 88% Polyester 12% Nylon - 60 inches wide - No stretch - smooth fabric (not "loopy" like bath towel) and soft, lightweight, absorbent, quick drying, takes up little space, qualities we love in a towel.,

    • SOFTSHELL - 100% polyester - Width 58 inches - Warming material, windproof properties, "smooth" front, fleece-like "quilted polar" back, very slightly stretchy Use: coat, windbreaker, lining, poncho, sanitary napkin.

    • SQUISH - 95% polyester 5% spandex - Width 60 inches - 4-way stretch + or - 130% - comparable to a minky but which would be double-sided, stretchy and ultra soft - Use: clothing, comforter, blanket, slipper, lining, etc.

Can I send you my design for printing?

Yes! Please note that we do not purchase the designs for you. If you want to print a design available in a web image bank, you must purchase it yourself and pay the usage rights. Your files must be transferred via Wetransfer to our email address. We accept .jpg .tiff .pdf formats.

Make sure your file is error-free, of good resolution, it must be 300dpi and in the correct size because it will be printed as is. We are not responsible for file errors, nor for the wrong resolution of the file if this is the case, nor for the wrong dimensions of the repeat.

If you need your file retouched and/or resized, this is possible for a $2.50 fee for any minor adjustments. Contact us.

Are your designs exclusive?

Some yes, some no! Many designs are designed by Julie (owner), so they are 100% exclusive; others come from stock images. Please note that for all designs offered, a commercial license has been paid; we respect the artists' copyrights.

Pattern dimensions:

It is good to know that the suggested dimensions are not the size of an element in the pattern, but the size of the pattern repeat.

All the LARGE sizes offered are suitable for example for a blanket or an adult garment. (Can also be suitable for a child's garment, the size of the pattern being a matter of taste and personal choice) The elements making up the pattern will measure around 3 inches.

All the small sizes offered will fit baby pajamas or a small item such as a washable diaper, for example. The elements making up the pattern will measure around 1 inch.

Good to know, as the dimensions offered have no link with the dimension of an element format the pattern but rather of the repetition, all the LARGE dimensions offered are substantially the same size whether they are 16x16, 12x12, 8x8 it will be an equivalent dimension.

As with all the SMALLER dimensions offered, whether 8x8, 5x5 or 3x3, the size of the elements will be substantially the same.

Along the same lines, we don't offer any huge sizes. Even if the largest size is 16x16, it won't be disproportionately large. Just as 3x3 won't necessarily be tiny.

All our sizes have been designed to fit all items.

What are your deadlines?

Everything IN STOCK is shipped within 24-72 business hours.

Sublimation printing (synthetic fibers) and Direct prints (natural fibers) are shipped within 3-10 business days.

***An order including stock materials and custom prints will be shipped in one shipment when the prints are ready.

*** We are not responsible for any additional delays caused by the carrier (Purolator/Canada Post)

*** The above-mentioned deadlines apply during "normal" busy periods; the deadline may be extended during promotions, holidays, etc.

What are the shipping costs?

Shipping costs are calculated based on the destination, weight, and dimensions of your purchase. For small orders, envelope shipping via Canada Post costs $4.99. With no tracking number and uncertain delivery times, you can still choose to ship via Purolator.

Most shipments will be sent via Purolator, the average cost is $10.99 to $14.99, it is quite possible that the cost will be higher depending on your location and/or the size of your order!

What are your payment methods?

We accept credit card, Interac e-Transfer, Paypal, and Sezzle payments through our online store.

Can we come and shop on site?

Yes! We are usually at the workshop from Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm, however our schedule is flexible, so we suggest you write/call us before coming to the site so you don't bump into a locked door if we are at a dentist appointment with the kids!

Do you offer a quantity discount?

Yes.

We offer a 10% discount on the purchase of 20 meters or more of the same fiber, possibly different patterns, but not different types of materials.

For more than 50 meters, contact us.

Exchange/Refund

Please check the accuracy of your order upon receipt and contact us within 5 days of receiving it if there is any problem. No returns/exchanges/refunds will be accepted after of this period, even if there was an error on our part. No returns/exchanges/refunds will be accepted if the fabric is not in exactly new condition, i.e.: unwashed, uncut, and this, even if there was an error on our part.

Please take the time to carefully read the information regarding the different materials you are purchasing. If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. Your order will be replaced if there is an error on our part, not if you have failed to read certain information. We disclaim all liability for receiving fiber that is not suitable for your project; it is your sole responsibility to read the fiber description. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any additional questions and/or to order additional fibers. samples in order to validate which fiber suits you best.

The width of our fabrics can vary between 57 and 60 inches wide. Therefore, the width of the print area will also vary. ANY defect within the print width but within 1 inch from the edge is considered acceptable and will not be considered defective under any circumstances. For example, a fabric where 60 inches is printed, we ensure that 58 inches is defect-free. In addition, any slight printing defect not exceeding 1 inch or on the back of the fabric will be deemed acceptable. We print on several printers in order to offer you a fast printing service, there may be a difference in colors from one printer to another, from one fiber to another especially between natural fibers and polyester. We strongly suggest that you always order enough of the same fabric in the same order to be able to complete your project.

Any slight color variation is considered acceptable, we strive to provide images that are faithful to the actual colors. However, we are aware that these can vary from one screen to another. No exchanges/refunds will be accepted for this reason. We are always happy to send you additional photos and/or suggest the best color scheme.

Due to the printing techniques used and the way in which the colors are properly fixed on the fabric, the length of the fabric may vary by +/- 5% of the quantity ordered.

All returns of merchandise must be made within 10 days of purchase.

Any returned material must not have been washed or cut.

Returns are at your expense.

For a pattern of several meters, you will receive, as far as possible, a single continuous piece of fabric of the selected length and not several pieces of 1/2 meter or 1 meter. For continuous footage of 5 meters or more, it is possible that you will receive it in 2 pieces.

We are not responsible for errors or the resolution/image quality of the files you send us. Your file will be printed as is. We will not accept any exchanges/refunds for these reasons.

Please be assured that all our fabrics are inspected before shipping, we do not ship anything we would not want to receive ourselves!

Washing and care instructions:

Printed fabric - synthetic fibers (polyester) - sublimation : Always favor washing in cold or warm water, drying at low temperature and sorting by color, for any fabric from any source. This greatly helps its long-term preservation, washing in hot water and drying at medium-high temperature will not cause discoloration. NEVER IRON.

Printed fabric - natural fibers (cotton and bamboo) - direct printing : You must always fix the colors of your fabric and then wash/dry it before sewing. To do this, we suggest a simple technique of soaking it for about 1-2 hours in a mixture of cold water, vinegar and coarse salt. Afterwards, it is important to sort by color, always wash your fabric in cold water on a delicate cycle and prefer a mild phosphate-free detergent as well as avoid the use of strong stain removers. For cotton, tumble dry on a delicate cycle. For bamboo: hang to air dry. These important steps will greatly prevent the discoloration of your fabric. The printing technique for natural fibers (cotton and bamboo) is not the same as that used for synthetic polyester fibers which are not at risk of discoloration. It is important to know that the high heat of your water or dryer air on your bamboo or cotton (natural fibers) as well as strong friction can cause premature fading of your fabric.
